Grooming Revenue Calculator
Model per-stylist contribution, total salon revenue, and how rebooking shapes repeat revenue over time.
The rebook is the business.
A groom is worth one ticket. A rebooked groom is worth a year of them. Your rebook rate is the single number that turns a salon from feast-or-famine into a predictable book of business.
The constraint in grooming is stylist time, not capacity, so revenue scales with grooms-per-day and ticket size, not floor space. Reminder tooling that times the rebook to the grooming cycle (see Email & SMS) is how you lift that rate.
Common questions.
Why does rebook rate matter so much?
A groom is one ticket; a rebooked groom is a year of them. Lifting your rebook rate raises predictable revenue without adding a chair or a stylist, which is why it is the single most important lever in the model.
Is revenue limited by space or by stylist time?
Stylist time. Grooming scales with grooms-per-day and ticket size, not floor space, so the calculator is built around per-stylist throughput.
What is a realistic grooms-per-day number?
It depends heavily on breed mix and service, but 5 to 8 full grooms per stylist per day is a common range. Bath-only and small breeds push it higher; large doodles push it lower.
